Day 4 of 42to42

Today is my normal rest day, but because I used that a few days ago - I at least did 30 minutes on the bike.  Rainy gloomy day, been in the house since we got home from church, which was Aiden's first communion.

Celery and roasted red pepper hummus - snack

Supper was shrimp, flat leaf parsley, and tomatoes and black beans. This will be my lunch several days this week with added brown rice and maybe a little feta cheese.


THIS WORKS!  Snip the ends of your herbs and put in water in a glass and then loosely cover with a plastic bag and keep in fridge.

Day 3 of 42to42

Today was another Missoula Children's Theater production.  I stayed away from the dessert table again with no problem, but a little help of my energy bites, which have dark chocolate in them.  I even shared some with a friend who was trying to stay away from the dessert table, who later emailed me that I made her day and that made my day!!!

Today I bought a new camera, so I was making sure I had all my pics off my SD cards uploaded and came across some OLD pictures that made me cry of my boys!



Lunch was my turkey-quinoa muffins with my black bean tomato mix and a little feta cheese - while the boys had pizza and mine was SO MUCH better!

Today was ‘okay’. Wasn’t hungry and was on the go. Lunch was good, but supper was a bowl of cereal.  Coulda been better!

Day 2 of 42to42

 Today was rest day - no exercise, which was good 
because this week has been sooooooo busy and I needed it!  





Tonight my son was in the production of King Arthur's Quest of the Missoula Children's Theater.  For a fundraiser for Designation Imagination they had a dessert table.  This was as close to it as I got - just a picture.

42 to 42 challenge


Okay - here I go!  Starting 4/26 I have daily goals to meet for my 42-to-42 challenge.  I will turn 42 years old June 7th.  This is about a lifestyle, not a diet. I don't have a lot I'd like to lose, but I'd like to see how much I've been underestimating what my body can do.  Help me stay accountable!  Lets see what I can do!

Goals:
Pushups: 1 pushup each day adding 1 more every day.
Planks: Starting with 30 seconds daily and increasing every 7 days.
Yoga/stretching: 5 minutes each day.
Kegels: 3x10 daily
Vacuum: 3x daily. (this is an ab exercise Dustin taught me that you can do daily)
Water: Aim for 1 g each day
Exercise: Keep up with my planned weight lifting and cardio/HIIT program with Nancy. Increase the intensity!
Clean eating:  Eating clean every day.  Only 'cheat' allowances will be either a square of dark chocolate or something made with natural ingredients; because I believe if you deprive yourself...you will fail!
